I apologise for the lack of new videos recently. This has been due to a number of reasons, which have all now been resolved, so hopefully I’ll be back on schedule with some more regular updates!
Firstly, around the time of my last video I was having a number of issues at work. I am now no longer working, which means I have a lot more time for playing Minecraft! 🙂
At the same time, one of the memory sticks in my PC failed, reducing me from 4GB of memory to 2GB, which meant that recording was impacting my FPS quite a lot. I now have a new PC, which is far more powerful than my last machine, and recording now has no impact on game-play. As an example, Minecraft was playing at around 40-60 FPS before the upgrade (using a 32x resource pack) – it now plays at over 400FPS using a 128x version of the same resource pack! 🙂
Thirdly, the members of the Kami Kraft server I was playing on stopped coming online, which meant it wasn’t as enjoyable playing on that server, and I had got slightly disheartened with playing multi-player. Earlier this week, Minecraft 1.8 was released. This has prompted me to find a new server, and I am very happy to now be a member of the InfiniumCraft server!
Finally, it has been the summer holidays here, so I have been spending time with the family. Today the children went back to school, which now gives me a bit more free time during the day to play (and record) Minecraft (between looking for a new job 😉 )
My next video should be uploaded within the next couple of days – keep an eye out for it 🙂

This is a very short video, as unfortunately most of my footage got corrupted, then the server went offline overnight, and when it came back it had been reset (again). I think it’s time to find a more reliable server!
